HOBBYMATE LiPo Bag - Review

If you are looking for a storage solution for your LiPo batteries, look no further. When I was looking for a LiPo bag I found many that when put to the test failed. There are really good videos on YouTube and on Hobbymate's website that show the protection this bag has to offer. I really like the Velcro lip in the front so I can lift the bag up without zipping the sides, it also makes it feel very secure when closed. The zipper sides make charging batteries inside really easy and you can still have a sealed bag when charging. This is one of those low cost things anybody getting into the hobby needs to buy. 

Why I don't suggest envelope style bags: All the videos I watched of people testing LiPo batteries had one thing in common, envelope style bags performed the worst. They usually had burn marks on the material they were sitting on. A bag style (I think) gives more room for the hot gasses to discharge with less direct contact with the shell of the bag. 

One of the added benefits of these bags are they are a convenient way to transport your other RC stuff when you are going out to have a fun time. They are the perfect size for 1/24 scale and smaller. I also use one to transport my DJI Mini 2. The DJI Mini 2 box fits perfect inside these bags (see gallery below).
